Based on a true story, These Shining Lives chronicles the strength and determination of women considered expendable in their roles working at the Radium Dial Company. Catherine is determined to share her story – that of survival in its most transcendent sense – and she refuses to allow anyone to keep her silent. She fights for all those who are considered of no value in the face of profit. Although set in the early 1900s, this story has continuing resonance.
